We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

These are some great words in our preamble to govern our great country.

We the People have the power to bring real change to Washington. We the People all get to vote November 2010 for all our elected representative in congress. The entire 435 members of congress are up for re-election along with 34 senators. If We the People decide to vote them all out of office at the November election in 2010 we would definitely bring some major changes (for good) to Washington. I remember Alan Cranston a senator from California who was reprimanded for his dealings in the Keating affair. He decided not to run for a 5^th term and made the comment that Washington will never change as long as money is available to buy influence over legislation. I have heard others say that after you win and go to Washington you find such an intoxication of power that your new objective is to build your war chest for the next election. It is also well known that special interest and money buys votes. Unfortunately for We the People, our elected representatives are more interested in staying in office than doing what is right. The recent opting out by our representatives for the Government Run Health Care Program is the pinnacle of elitisms from this arrogant Washington crowd. I think we need to start a grassroots movement to kick all the bums out of Washington and keep doing it every 2 years. They will get the message that the American people have had enough and that politics is not a government system to feed the powerful and wealthy. I would rather see a housewife with kids go to Washington to serve for 2 years knowing that she would have to come back home and live the rest of her life with those decisions she made. She would be more concerned with how her decisions will affect her and her family when she returns home.

Kicking the bums out of Washington would break the special interests stranglehold that is pulling this country down and corrupting our elected representative, but We the People have the power to change that. I think this idea is over due and would bring some good changes and a better fiscally run government.

We the People have a little more than a year before the next election to bring some major change to Washington that would better serve us all. Lets vote the bums (incumbents) out and the housewives in.

Lets take our country back from the evil of politics.
