How Wealthy Affiliate Helps Me Make Money
Is it possible to make a decent living online? Where can I learn how to do this? Is every "money making" program online a scam?
My name is Dan, and for years these questions were on my mind. I had bought and read dozens of ebooks, joined a few programs, sold stuff on eBay, even tried online gambling strategies, but I never made any decent money. A few bucks here and a few bucks there, but nothing that really helped me financially. That is, until I came across a membership site called Wealthy Affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate is run by 2 young millionaire entrepreneurs named Kyle and Carson. They started out just trying to find a way to raise money for college tuition. They started out on an advertising budget of just $5.00/day. They learned how to turn that in just a few short years into a business that now brings them over a million dollars a year and is still growing. They did this by mastering an online business opportunity called affiliate marketing.
What is affiliate marketing? In my opinion, it is the easiest way to make money online. Many online businesses will pay you if you refer someone to their website and the person buys something off of the site. For example, one of the things I market is cell phone plans. I place ads on the internet for a cell phone company that pays me every time someone who got to their site through my ad signs up for a cell phone plan. This month I will get a check for over $1200.00 just for placing ads for this company. They pay me $50 per cell phone that is shipped because of my referral. They handle all the inventory, customer service, shipping, everything. All I do is place ads online for the company and for their phones and calling plans. I use mainly paid advertising on Google and Yahoo, but I could do it without spending any money even on free sites like this one. I am an independent "affiliate" of the cell phone company and what I do is called "affiliate marketing."
I learned all about affiliate marketing at Wealthy Affiliate. I joined at the end of January (2007) and found all the information I needed to finally start seeing some online success. In February I made a couple hundred bucks. I doubled that in March. This month I will make over $2000.00 with the various programs I am involved with. I intend to grow that until I can quit my regular job and do this full time.
Wealthy Affiliate has all the training and tools anyone could ask for - courses, videos, tutorials, software tools, etc. which are all excellent. But what I find most helpful is the members forum where I can ask questions and get quick answers and advice from expert marketers. Kyle and Carson regularly post there and so do other full time affiliate marketers who freely share their secrets of success.
One of my favorite forum areas is the "General Success" area. Almost daily there are posts telling stories of recent success. Here are a few titles of recent threads:

"I haven't posted here in the success forum since November. At the time, I raised the bar and promised myself that the next post in here would be when I had built my IM business up enough to quit my job.
Well, I'm thrilled to report that yesterday I kicked a $120K/yr day job straight in the nuts thanks to WA (Wealthy Affiliate)! ...
The real test for me quitting has been waiting until I really felt like it's flat out costing more money to go to work, than it is to stay home and work on IM...and having debt paid off and plenty of money saved. All that has happened now so I said see ya later.
I'm consitently averaging over $500/day net profits now, which may not be huge by some standards, but it's enough to make me feel comfortable quitting. I feel like the sky is the limit so I hope everyone can see the real potential from putting what you learn at WA (Wealthy Affiliate) into action...
I can honestly say there are no big secrets to be found outside WA (Wealthy Affiliate). The success I've had so far has been all attributable to the content, help, and support at WA and the other guides by Carson and Kyle. Anything else I've ever read is just a little gravy, but not essential...
Anyway, I'm incredibly excited about the future!...but first, I'm off tomorrow for a weeks vaca(tion) to enjoy the new freedom.

My financial situation is the worst now and for the past 2 years. With this condition and knowledge, I deeply verify if a package is a scam before buying. I recently purchased Ultimate Wealth Package, I am unable to follow the head and tail of it. Don't know even where to begin and where and what to market. This package does't provide any step by step guide towards financial success. Do you think I can purchase wealthy affiliate with the aim of at least earning $2500 a month on average? I value your suggestion.

Wealthy Affiliate will give you the knowledge to achieve this over time and with a strong commitment on your part. It will help you find a niche and teach you how to effectively market products to that niche. It takes most people who are serious about affiliate marketing 6 months to a year to reach the level you are talking about, although some find success much quicker. When you get stuck Kyle, Carson and the members on the forum will help you out. Wealthy Affiliate is not like other programs that just leave you hanging not knowing what to do. Although there is a lot of material on the site, there is also a lot of help, and there are a lot of people to give you the encouragement and direction you may need.
I would suggest that if you join, start out with the 6 week action plan, which is a step by step guide to teach you how to become successful. I would also suggest just trying it for 1 month to see if it is for you. If not, you can cancel at the click of a button. I understand your hesitation because I was where you are back in January. Now I am so happy I joined and I can actually see myself doing this full time within a couple of years.

I have bought many ebooks because of the well-laid promotions. And found out that the contents are the same as the free ebooks that I have downloaded. Did you experience the same way back then Dan?
If I join, how will i know that it is for me? How long can I achieve profit, say $50?
All I can say is that dozens of ebooks didn't work for me and Wealthy Affiliate did! I think the difference is the members forum where you can ask questions and get good expert answers. Kyle and Carson have also helped me when I got stuck on something. The community is friendly and wants to see you reach success. As far as time frame, I made over $50 within a month. But a lot depends on the effort you are willing to put into it. It takes learning and work, but it can be VERY rewarding if you put effort into it. There is much much more at WA then you will find in any eBook. And there is information for beginners as well as for advanced marketers.

I WANT TO THINK THAT THIS PROGRAMME IS THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED ON THE NET OVER A YEAR AGO. I HAVE IGNORANTLY BOUGHT INTO SO MANY OTHER PROGRAMMES WITHOUT ANY HEAD WAY. THEY SAY, THERE IS NO HARM IN TRYING AND I STILL WOULD TRY THIS ONE OUT AS I REALLY WANT TO QUIT MY DAY JOB FOR INTERNET MARKETING. READ SOME POSTS AND AM ELATED BUT THE SIMPLE QUESTION IS, IF WEALTHY AFFILIATE CAN HELP ME LEAVE MY DAY JOB?
