Web Affiliate Program - What Is It?

A web affiliate program is one of many methods to earn money online. It gives you a very simple way of selling other people's or company's products without the hassle of handling the product yourself. In other words, you do not need to deal with shipping, handling or even customer service.

You simply place links with your web affiliate ID on your web site or blog and if someone follows the link to the merchant web site and makes a purchase you will get credit (in the form of a commission or flat fee) for the sale.

The biggest issue to breaking into affiliate marketing is the learning curve of putting together a web site in order to place the links from your web affiliate program. Some important aspects of an affiliate site include; quick loading, attractive design, search engine friendliness, user friendliness, as well as others.

Putting together an affiliate site often requires multiple talents, be it design, be it programming, market research, search engine optimization...etc. But there's a better way as explained below...

Affiliate Program Web Sites

An increasingly common method for those new to affiliate marketing that have no desire to learn to program/design their own affiliate site or haven't had the time to learn is to purchase existing web sites that are designed with web affiliate programs in mind.

These sites are ready-made and just waiting to be purchased by the highest bidder. You know what this means? It saves weeks, often months of work. These sites are ready to go!

One great thing about the affiliate marketing web sites is that you do not need any technical knoweldge in order to start making money with them. All of the technical steps are handled by the seller of the sites. They will explain how to setup your accounts for the web affiliate programs and will insert your unique codes for you or show you how.

Any long term technical assistance that is needed can also be handled by the site seller for you and I'll tell you how to get it at no charge. One thing to keep in mind when purchasing sites is that there are actually 3 things that need to be purchased. You will need to purchase the web site itself of course, as well as hosting and domain fees.

The web site fee is a one time fee. Hosting and domain fees are ongoing but very affordable (and worth it once you see the money making potential of affiliate marketing).

The fees for the sites vary but they often come with one month of free web hosting. After that you will be required to pay to continue to host the site. You can shop around for hosting but if you are in need of technical help along the way, the site seller's often give a deal where they will handle the technical end of things for you for free in exchange of hosting with them. Expect to pay around $10 per month to host your site if you opt to go with the site sellers recommended hosting. Domain names shouldn't cost much more than $10 per year (often less). Best of luck.
