You Are Probably Missing the Boat

If you think sites Like YouTube, MySpace, and Twitter are for Kids...You might want to Rethink that position.

Let's talk about how the new trends of Web 2.0 can significantly impact your business. I'm talking specifically to those entrepreneurs and business owners who have not crossed over to the online world yet. If you don't have a blog, or don't know what a blog is, you need one yesterday. On the other hand, if you think you know everything there is to know about Web 2.0, I'm sure you are going to be pleasantly surprise by the little gem I'm going to throw your way by the end of this brief article.

The Web 2.0 scene has UNDOUBTEDLY changed the landscape of how business owners can interact with their customers and prospects. In modern day business, the most successful people are the ones who build relationships. The amateurs who sell first and never really create a relationship are the first to fail. There is a lot of opportunity out there for those that truly learn how to create relationships online. You can tap into a massive amount of people in the web 2.0 environments who are interested in the same things you are.

The Internet leaves clues all over the place as to where you can tap into massive traffic to build a network marketing business that would BAFFLE most people in our industry.

Here's a little tip for you...

Go to http://www.alexa.com/

This site graphs internet traffic and which sites on the Internet have the most.

Look at the top 5 most popular sites in America based on their traffic. What

are you seeing?

1. Google

2. Yahoo.

3. MySpace

4. YouTube

5. FaceBook

In case you haven't caught the significance here, 3 out of the top 5 most trafficked sites in existence are Web 2.0 Social Networking sites, that have been around less then HALF of the time google and yahoo have. And to think that google and yahoo are literally how the world now finds out information...it's AMAZING these sites are right up there with them in traffic.

What is this telling you as an entrepreneur? What is this telling you if you want to have an endless amount of leads to grow your business with? Well, if you want to tap into MASSIVE traffic on the Internet then I highly suggest you start LEARNING everything you can about those top 5 sites. Nestled within those sites is the ability

to crank out more traffic and leads then you would ever in your life know what to do with. And in networking marketing...it doesn't take signing up an army to grow a successful business.

It takes signing up some quality people...and teaching them how to do the same. That's IT. And each of those sites above has a very specific way you can tap into the massive traffic existing within them. Some are rather blatant... like Google and Yahoo. All you have to do is click on their advertiser program and you can learn about using those

sites to advertise.

The Web 2.0 scene can be get a little more interesting. This fact makes it even more important to find a good mentor to show you the ropes of navigating

our new business landscape. The point is...that you really start LOOKING at

and paying attention to where the world is GOING.

Where are your prospects going? Where are you distributors going? Where is the public going? And by studying those graphs at Alexa.com above it's going to give you some serious insights as to where people spend the majority of their

time on the Internet. Your next step is figure out how to scientifically approach and uncover methods to tap into the possibilities at your fingertips.

I'm going to leave you with one more little gem

today. It's called:

http://twitter.com/

This is another site we've been exploring lately and figuring out how to tap into the

massive traffic here. Not only that, but we've been exploring how to use sites like this to

create such a more powerful network of people, and build relationships at the same

time. You can check out my little profile here:

Twitter is a crazy concept. Let's say there's a certain celebrity you want to follow, or a

blogger you get great information from... On twitter you can 'Follow' them and the second they post a twitter you are notified by email and can follow their every move.

The neat part is...people can do the same with YOU. YOU can build a network of people that are literally following your every move, and it's not a difficult thing to do. That is very exciting. Anywhere you are doing marketing or advertising you can have a link to your Twitter account. The key is to provide good content. Not sell, sell, sell, like most of the marketing amateurs out there.

It's 'little' things like this that add up and make you a POWERHOUSE entrepreneur online. When you can send out a little broadcast, and 1000 people are instantly notified...

When you can put a video up on a site and have 1500 people view it in a few days...

When you can use a software to network with a couple thousand people from your area on myspace on autopilot... You are now starting to realize a TINY bit of

what's possible in our new age web 2.0 era...

And if you want to get the training that started

it ALL for me, I highly recommend you visit this

link immediately:

http://space.marketingmasters.tv

The most important thing I think network marketers today can really do is understand the difference between 'Attraction' and 'selling'. The old school is more of a selling mentality.

The new school is more of an 'Attraction' mentality. And in the Web 2.0 scene...it's all about attraction. In fact, when you're doing it right...you are literally hounded by people all day long who want to work with you.

That's why I teach in this training the crucial principles of 'Attraction Marketing' and literally walk you through how I got started building my business on the Internet...

I'm sincerely hope you got some value out of this article today, and hopefully you have woken up to the possibilities before you. Once your mind opens up to just how much

possibility there really is out there to create ANY amount of wealth you want for yourself...

It's just a matter of time before your 'Knowledge' of how to do it catches up.

Yours In True Success,

Nick Logan

Nick -

You make some really good points here. Unfortuantely, Twitter, Facebook and MySpace are just overflowing with inane posts, silly gimmicks and other apps that are made to entertain and not to really 'network'.

I keep in touch with my friends and my custoemrs thru e-mail. I have found that getting traffic to my blogs and websites via these other Web 2.0 tools CAN be helpful..but more often than not you run into people who are not savvy marketers or qualified prospects...so you they use Web 2.0 apps to write "I'm eating Soup" or "I hate Obama" or "I M 2 kewl 4 U".

I really, really, really don't like Twitter. But I use it, because it gets a lot of 'pres' lately and every good marketer should be using the most popular tools to reach the most popular people.

I blog about Socially Responsible companies...so my feeling is the more people I can reach out to, the better a chance of more 'good' being done in the world. A neccessary evil, I suppose.

It's not the app I don't like...it's the inane "Tweets" that most people share. This is why I altogether got away from MySpace.

Maybe I'm over critical. Find me on Twitter (Defmall) and we can follow each other!

I hear ya Defmall. Ya, I think alot of people avoid those social networks because they think they are for kids, but I have had nothing but good luck with them. It's about attraction marketing. You attract those similiar to you. Which is great. I just ignore the other stuff. I'll check you out on twitter. Mine is http://twitter.com/nicklogantv
