Web-Chops is an Internet product idea in the beginning stages. The product has a simple idea - give web browser a tool to cut patches out of web pages as they surf, and give them a place to collect, sort, share or display these patches (or chops). Think of scrap booking for the web.

Most products or services go through several stages on their way to market. It can look like this: development, internal testing, alpha testing with a small user base as the raw edges are worn off, beta testing with an increasing user base as the product is refined, and finally released to the public. The creator of Web-Chops is looking for ideas and funding and has quietly open the door on his (barely) alpha stage product.

To take a look at the product, checkout the product tour. If you prefer a text overview, look here. Remember that this is little more than a product concept at this point. You'll find first draft material, typos, glitches, etc. Maybe you'll find an idea!

If you are like me, you are in HubPages because it's fun to play around with this Web 2.0 stuff, be a little creative, learn a little and meet some nice people. If you like to play around a little, then jump over to Web-Chops and register here. If you don't have time to play or are going to be impatient with an undeveloped product, then pass on this one for now.

Checkout Web-Chops. Play a little. Find a bug and report it. Get an idea and share it.

Other great chops through the ages...

This looks very promising for researching information keeping what's relevant and leaving the rest in cyberspace. Thanks!!
