Webdesign - Easy and free on-line website builder software
68Web design made easy
Most people look at the Internet as end users, although they have the urge to go further with their knowledge, but are normally faced with a big knowledge problem. Building a web site can be fulfilling, but it looks so complicated and difficult, but their are ways to simplify it, so everyone can do it.
I have a few tips that will help you start up you web designing without great knowledgeof HTML or any of that mumbo jumbo language thing that we usually come across. If you look around you'll find hundreds of software's that are WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get), very practical for someone who wants a simple website.
Sincerely I've tried a few, but they all try to get you to pay at the end, some give you few templates to choose from, however I've found one that may be of interest.
It's called Serif Webplus SE you can download it, this version is free, has some limitations, but surely enough for your first site. It's a very simple and easy to use software, it even includes tutorials to help you start on your right foot.
When you start working with the software your first 4 option are:
- Use a design template
- Start from scratch
- Open a publication
- Tutorials
If you're starting just use a design template, easier to begin from their. All the rest you can find in the tutorials, it's an explore and learn venture, my favorite type.
I also have tested Ewisoft. Very easy, just as easy as the Serif Webplus, you can find it through the link. It has a lot of templates, but most are not free, so before you start working seriously on your site, figure out how much it may cost you, or if the one you're using is free. Actually, my true opinion is that Ewisoft is good, but the best templates have to be paid for, it's actually very easy to manage.
These are only two examples of free WYSIWYG software available on the Internet.
Image Software do Websites
Well to actually make a successful webpage design, besides the simple WYSIWYG software you'll need some help to prepare picture for Internet publishing. Don't forget that your personal pictures that you've taken with your new digital camera are excellent, but maybe to big for your readers, so reduce it with the Paint.Net software at you can also do some touch up.
You can get Paint.Net freeware at this link: http://www.getpaint.net/index.html
Very easy to use and a powerful tool for someone who wants to publish images on the net. Currently the images we take on digital cameras can be over 1 MB in size which is a little bit to big for quick intenret viewing, so with this software you can crop and resize you images, and save them in several formats.

Great hub. I use fireworks and dreamweaver for my design work. I am always looking for new software and programs though. Thanks for this.
