Weber 751001 Charcoal Grill
75The Weber 751001 is one of the hottest selling grills out there right now, charcoal or otherwise. It is the real deal. We're going to have a look at it here in a second. First let's examine the question of why Weber has done it again with their 751001 charcoal grill.
First of all, all you have to do is take a look at this clean and simple piece of cooking craftsmanship and you'll know what it's main appeal is: it's easy. Bottom line, anybody and their grandmother could cook up a nice summer meal on this thing.
Another positive is clearly the price tag. What is it? $125 or so? That's a steal. I think most computer games cost more than that today, and they aren't going to feed you, let alone the whole family or entire block!
The Weber 751001: One-Touch Gold
Along with their One-Touch Silver, a slightly cheaper model with not quite as high-quality components, the Weber 751001 One-Touch Gold is this company's great contribution into the arena of the budget charcoal grill. Every review across the planet gives a nod to the 751001.
Some of the positives here include:
- A one-touch (hence the name) cleaning mechanism whereby you simply push one button and all the grill's ash dumps neatly into a removable tray. Voila!
- This gold and the silver both utilize Weber's classic oval / egg design. This is great because it evenly distributes heat. Just think about that versus the normal square grill, which I am not knocking but requires a little extra tending and watchful eye.
- Ten year warranty (limited).
- Convenience. This is a charcoal grill that was clearly designed with ease of use in mind, leading it to often be crowned the most convenient grill.
Weber Grills: The Company
Weber was originally founded as the Weber-Stephen Products Company all the way back in 1893. It is, of course, a good ol' American company as is fitting for the leader in the grilling industry.
They consider themselves to be the kings of the grilling industry, manufacturing both charcoal and gas varieties. They do barbeque the way you want it, with minimal input from any individual owner. That is the mark of a true winner. They churn out chicken, ribs, steaks, vegetables, and whatever else you want to throw on there. Oh, how about some hot dogs and hamburgers? Give me some!
The Bottom Line on the 751001
The bottom line is this: the Weber 751001 Charcoal Grill (One-Touch Gold) is quite possibly the best low price (or cheap) charcoal grill out there on the market today. It is so great. You can surely trust this company to help you cook up scrumptious deliciousness for the 4th of July, Memorial Day, or whatever. The only problem is that we're already a bit into summer here, folks, so you can't keep dilly-dallying. These are going fast wherever they are being sold; people buy once they realize that it is the season to have cookouts. And that time is now, of course.
Every residence all across the USA deserves to be outfitted with one of these babies. It is a simple enough contraption that you can let the kids use it and they will learn how to cook things like the best hamburgers and hot dogs. The One-Touch Gold is a great teaching mechanism. I wish we had one of these when I was growing up. I would've been out concocting masterpiece barbeque meals every night of the week.
