Grill Away!

Let’s hear it for small things and Tom Thumb, where are you when we need you? It’s almost that time of year again for barbecues, camping trips and run-ins with bears and other recalcitrant family members and forest creatures. Be prepared with a Weber Baby Q Portable Grill. This appliance won’t be much help in confronting the creatures of the forest, but at least you can do that on a full stomach. (Even running, they say, is better that way. But then again, what do they know?)

It is quite amazing to think that a grill that stands only 14 inches could offer 189 square inches of cooking space, but the Weber Baby Q Portable Grill does just that. Its 8,500 BTUs quickly barbecues burgers, steaks, poultry, seafood and anything else that doesn’t get out of the way too soon. The convenient push button ignition provides for reliable lighting conditions even at the darkest campsite. The grill on the Weber Baby Q Portable Grill comes equipped with an adjustable burner valve and high-quality regulator. A sturdy, reinforced nylon grill frame further optimizes this appliance’s stability.

The Weber Baby Q Portable Grill has a cast-iron aluminum lid and body, which makes the appliance easier to transport than others of its ilk. The 14.1-ounce disposable propane cylinder it utilizes is not included in the total cost. This is, in fact, the only complaint made by most reviewers (outside of the high cost) as these fuel cylinders are not as common and a bit harder to find. Perfect for camping and picnics, the Weber Baby Q Portable Grill also features a large, heat-resistant lid handle and a porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grate. The grill is non-stick and most reviewers state that it works best when washed before you use it for the very first time. Do not for any reason add seasoning to the grate.

In short, (forgive pun) it’s thumbs up for this Tom Thumb product that the little colonel himself (not to be confused with the little general who was Napoleon) would have been proud to use.

Get one today and barbecue tomorrow!
