Be careful using CPV. You must test and track carefully. Do small tests with $10 to see if traffic converts. $10 will buy you 1000 impressions. If you get a conversion or two from that $10 ad spend then you can start to ramp up your campaign.
If you don't set limits you can burn through a lot of money very quickly.
If your daughter is burning through 4k a week she should be making a profit. If not then she needs to scale back here ad spending and revaluate her campaigns.

I have not used CPV before. What sort of results should I expect by comparison to ppc?
My daughter is spending about 4k a week on PPC and it hurts!
