Wedding Cake or Dessert Bar?
61Which is best for your wedding?
The wedding industry is alive and booming even during a glooming recession. Many brides are now opting for a dessert bar instead of the traditional wedding cake. There are pros and cons to with each. It really boils down to preference and style. The dessert bar is becoming more popular due to the variety it offers the guests. The dessert bar can be viewed as more considerate, however, most traditional brides still may prefer the wedding cake. The pros of the Wedding cake are the photo opportunities to look back on later of the bride and groom smashing cake on each others face. The cons are most likely the cost. The dessert bar offers a wide variety of desserts from cheesecake, to cookies or cupcakes, to candy. The cons are that it takes away the focus of bridal wedding cakes. The pros of the dessert bar is that you do not need anyone to cut and serve your wedding cake. The desset bar is typically self serve. Also, In most cases you will come out saving money with the dessert bar if you do not get carried away. Nevertheless, is all comes down to personal preferences. I enjoy both.
