Wedding dress? Check. Chapel? Check. Groom...um? Yep, check. The big day is around the corner and you've got all the trimmings ready to go, or do you? What about your hair? Have you given any thought as to what wedding hair accessories you will be using? If not, it is now time to put the bride, yes you, back in the center of it all. What good is a great cake if the bride doesn't look put together. It's your day and you want to look your best.

There are many hair accessories that you can choose from. When deciding though, you need to keep in mind your hair type. Do you have long or short hair? If, you have long hair, will you be wanting to wear it down or up. What color is your hair? If you decide on an accessory that has color to it you want to make sure it looks good with your hair color. If you have a light hair color and go with an hair accessory that is pale, it might not be noticeable. The same goes if you have a dark hair color you wouldn't want to place something in your hair that was dark as it would blend in.

There are so many different hair styles that might work with your look.  The french knot, braids, curls or even a spiky bun. All of these could be improved with one or two well placed wedding hair accessories. Here are a few:

• beaded combs

Any one of the above accessories would be a wonderful addition to your look if used correctly. It's recommended that after deciding which hair accessory you want to use. That you make an appointment with your beautician so that they can do a "trial run" with your hair with the chosen accessory.  This gives you the opportunity to see how your hair will look as well as give the your stylist a chance to get become more familiar with your hair. This way the day of the wedding will hopefully run smoothly.
