Beautiful...

This style would've fit in perfect in my "Ideas for an Autumn Wedding" hub!

Deciding which hair style to have can be stressful!

First, and foremost, if you have long hair, there are many ways to style your hair for weddings... Do you want to put it up? Or leave it long and flowing? Do you want it strait, or curly? Should you use barrettes, or a headband? How about pins and clips? What if you have a vail?

Here, I will show some of my favorite wedding hair styles... Also, I have added a few photos of flower girls' hair styles. Most of these styles look complicated, and look as if they would take all day to do, but trust me, if you bring a picture to your stylist, they can find a way to duplicate the look, IF they are a good stylist. You will want to consult with your stylist before-hand, so the two of you can practice and get an idea of exactly how it will be done on your big day. (No time to screw around on the big day, so take precaution, as you will probobly be acting like a chicken with it's head cut off!)

Decisions...decisions.

Your stylist will tell you if the style you are looking at will be achievable or not. But in most cases, a good stylist can do anything with your hair. As long as it's the right length for the style, you've got nothing to worry about! Maybe you will want a trim before your big day? (Do this at least two weeks ahead of time, in case of "accidents"- The same goes for your nails, if you are having tips put on... )

Flower girls are supposed to resemble little angels, as many little girls ARE little angels, (or at least have the LOOK of an angel!)

Having trouble deciding on what style for her? Great tip: Have her hair done to match yours! It's like seeing a little "mini-me", and they get SO many compliments! It will make them feel just as important as the bride!

The Maid of Honor's hair should be completely up to her... She may choose to match you, if her hair is similar, or do a completely different look! She's an important person in the wedding, so give her the benefit of the doubt, and allow her that freedom.

The same goes for the bridesmaids. They are there to support your first day under a new name... If it were up to me, all of our hair styles would match, (somewhat) using similar, if not the same decorations, pins, etc...

You concentrate on YOU... Let your little helpers do their own thing. Make suggestions, but by all means, don't force them to wear their hair uncomfortably.

Making these decisions on your own is not advised. Have a "Wedding Party Conference Meeting" and maybe a night out on the town together, dinner, dancing, and a relaxed atmosphere will bring about some good ideas! Remember that it's YOU getting married, but everyone's opinion should matter!

The styles I have added to this page are just amazing! Kiera Knightley is perfectly pretty here in this picture. Her hair is all messy, and I love it! I think messy hair (that looks good) is the most sexy hairstyle! Even at a wedding!

The pins, barrettes, and "pretties" used in these styles are a great addition to already-beautiful hair. There's nothing more satisfying than making something that is beautiful, even MORE beautiful! Agree?

Elegance is the key...

Thank you SO much! I love these styles. And of course, for me, the easier to do, the better! And these styles are quite simple, even though they look otherwise!

Thanks for the comment hipattrick!

I think up-do's are good for super formal weddings inside and long & flowing for outdoor and less formal, but that's just my opinion.

I had a long and flowing do with a tiera placed into it and I regret that because the tiera was literally pinned into the do and after the wedding when it was time to relax and take off dress, I couldn't take the tiera out without totally ruining my do.
