Wedding Program
64Wedding Program Tips For Beginners
Many people think that coming up with a wedding program is easy; in fact, others would even consider throwing up a few concepts together, organize, print it up, then distribute these to those who are invited to the wedding.
Keep in mind, however, that a wedding program is a prelude to the actual event. it must be designed to give an individual the idea that this is a professional wedding and proper decorum needs to be applied to fit with the crowd.
Start With The Cover
Before you go over the content of the wedding program, the first detail you need to take care of is the cover. Many would think that this should include plenty of pictures, letter designs, ribbons, and the like, but this isn’t how it should be done. A proper wedding program cover should be informative.
It should contain the image of the happy couple, the time and place of the event, and other important information about the wedding. You can add some design for added appeal, but this should be kept at minimum to avoid ruining the concept.
What Should Be On The Inside
The inside of the wedding program should contain information about what takes place during the event, such as scripture reading, prayers, singing of hymns, exchanging of vows, and so on.
Aside from the timetable, the inside of the wedding program should contain important names involved in the ceremony; such as the parents of the bride and groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, the ring bearer, flower girl, and so on. Even the name of the priest or clergy officiating the wedding should be present. The more devote couples sometimes include their favorite Bible verse to impart an experience of the event.
Improving Your Wedding Program
The above tips are the basic content and look of a wedding program, but you can always give it a few improvements to make it more appealing and tasteful for the wedding guests, who may wish to keep it as a souvenir or remembrance of the union. For example, you can pick out an envelope with a simple, yet stylish design and put a quote in gold letters. Another concept is to wrap up the program in silk and tie it off with a ribbon.
Your wedding program doesn’t have to be boring or too professional to suit the motif of the event. Simply inject a little bit of creativity and integrate your personal touch to make it a unique memorabilia of your wedding and share it to the rest of the guests and family.

I was at my cousin's wedding and her program was outlined on the back and the couple's picture was on the front. It was unique and quite interesting, also a keep sake for people to carry to places that might be hot and need something to heip keep them cool. Also the had bookmarks with their pictures and a quote from the Bible..They say it was from Hertiage Printing. If so do you have a list of that and the prices available.
