685 Weight Loss Diets Worth Trying
There are many weight loss diets out on the market, especially these days where more and more Americans are focusing on healthier living. If you're not sure which diet to try, here are a few diets that you should try:
1. South Beach Diet
Of all weight loss diets, this one has gained in popularity in the last few years. Against popular belief, the South Beach diet is not a low-carb diet. What the diet does is show you which carbohydrates are good and which ones are bad. On this program, you'll eat an array of vegetables, all kinds of lean meats, and many sources of protein like beans and peanuts.
The best part is that there is no measuring or counting calories. Although Phase 1 is very strict with very limited carbohydrates, it only lasts for one week. By Phase 2, you'll be able to enjoy many more types of food.
2.Fat Loss 4 Idiots
This diet is fairly new to the market, but has gained much attention. This is one of those unique weight loss diets that allow you to eat almost anything, but at different times of the week. The logic behind this program is to let your body become accustomed to burning and consuming certain types of calories, then quickly switching the menu while your body is still used to those foods. This is called "calorie switching". The program focuses on fat burning hormones and fat storage, and they aim to manipulate the process and virtually trick the body into burning fat all the time.
3.The Mediterranean Diet
When it comes to weight loss diets, the Mediterranean diet is really not a diet at all; it's a lifestyle change. It is well known that the people of the Mediterranean live very long and healthy lives well into their 90's and beyond. They attribute the lack of cancer and longevity to their style of eating.
In this diet program, you can expect to eat as much fruits and vegetables as you desire. This means all kinds of salads or steamed vegetables at every meal. Red or fatty meats are off-limits, but you can enjoy a variety of fish and other lean meats. Cheese and cream are limited while whole grains are encouraged. This is overall a very good way to eat and even those who are not looking to lose weight should look at this program as the way to live a great, healthy life.
5.Nutri-System
You've probably seen the commercials for this particular diet. This is one of the easiest weight loss diets to follow because there is no guessing involved. On this program, you receive one month's worth of food, delivered right to your door. They are perfectly portioned meals, snacks, and desserts with the correct blend of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. All you have to purchase separately is beverages and salads.
This diet claims to follow the glycemic index, which separates good carbohydrates from bad carbohydrates. As well, Nutri-System comes in a wide variety of flavors for all types of people, including those over 50, those under 50, men, women, and even "weekends off" so that you can enjoy healthy foods at a restaurant or a night out. It's about $10 per day and definitely worth a try.
No matter which of these weight loss diets you try, stay committed and stick with the program, and you will see results. For more info on weight loss, click one of the links below.

I am not so sure. I think the best weight loss diet is no diet at all. Of course a diet that make you lose weigh fast, can give you a 'flying start'... - 2 years ago
