These days’ weight loss and tea go together perfectly. There are so many weight loss teas on the market, today the choices are unlimited. If you enjoy drinking tea and want to lose some excess pounds then this is the answer you’ve been looking for. There are many diet plans that involve drinking weight loss tea, and if followed correctly, the pounds will melt away at a fast rate. You will feel healthier and have a higher energy level when drinking the weight loss tea. When you drink an 8 ounce glass of tea with your meal you will feel fuller, and more satisfied. The weight loss tea will help curb your hunger.

All of this is great news because of the serious problem that we all are having with our weight.  We need to develop a plan that will not only help us in the next few weeks but something that will last for months to come.



Green Tea Magic?

Green tea happens to be the most popular weight loss tea on the market today. The Japanese have been drinking green tea for centuries and it is proven to slow down the aging process. Green tea contains high amounts of antioxidants which cleanse out your body and promotes better health. The catechins found in green tea help to inhibit fat absorption, and the movement of glucose into the fat cells, which help your blood sugar levels. Drinking weight loss tea in the morning instead of a cup of coffee will save calories and still give you that extra energy to start the day with. Green tea does contain caffeine so don’t overdo it, 5 eight ounce glasses per day is plenty. If you have heart troubles or high blood pressure you may want to consult your doctor before starting green tea for weight loss. This weight loss tea is not magic, but it definitely can give you a start in weight loss and help your overall health.


When brewing your weight loss tea you must be careful not to over brew. If brewing green tea you need to use a tea kettle on your stove top to boil the water first. Once the water is boiling remove the kettle from the stove and add the tea bags or tea leaves to the hot water.  Let the tea steep for 5 minutes then remove the tea bags or leaves. Next let the kettle sit for 2 to 4 more minutes. Your weight loss tea will be less bitter and gassy, if brewed following these directions. You may also want to drink your green tea cold. Give it some zing and add some lemon slices to it and pour it over ice. You can also make a green tea liqueur by mixing green tea and vodka. This is an alcoholic beverage and wouldn’t be the best for weight loss as alcohol is high in calories. There are many ways to drink your weight loss tea. You can also pour your tea into ice cube trays and make tea cubes to add to your tea for a stronger taste.

Many different companies produce weight loss tea that is already brewed, bottled and ready to drink. If you decide to lose those unwanted pounds and chose a weight loss tea diet, just remember not to overdo it. Drink a cup of weight loss tea before each meal to make you feel fuller and eat less. Then drink a couple 8 ounce cups of tea between meals. Try not to drink over five cups of weight loss tea per day. Remember also to eat healthy meals along with your tea. Eat plenty of vegetables, grains, lean meats, and fruits. Put exercise into your daily routine by walking, swimming, doing aerobics, dancing, or any other calorie burning activity. When drinking your weight loss tea, eating healthy, and exercising, you will lose weight rapidly. To keep the weight off for good, stay away from fast foods, and carbonated drinks like Colas. Take a few days off from drinking your weight loss tea once in a while so you won’t get sick of drinking it. There are so many different flavors of weight loss tea; it would be hard to get tired of drinking them. Try the different flavors and continue drinking your weight loss tea, you will be healthier, more focused, and have tons of energy.
