So, you want to lose weight on Weight Watchers?

I think that a large part of success with Weight Watchers is meal planning.  This is going to assist you in counting points, in taking food to work, and in sticking with your diet when you just 'don't know what to eat.  My intent here is to show you, over the course of several weeks, what typical meals and snacks looked like for me.

I am a bigger guy, and so my points may be different than yours.  That is fine, just eat less whatever, and you should be fine.

Note: Because Weight Watchers is very picky about their copyright, I will not post point totals, formulas, etc. here.  You can find it on the web, I am not going to do your dirty work for you.  Or you can always go to the first meeting, pay your $12, and get all of the materials you need! =)

"Eat the same things for breakfast and lunch almost every day. Yes, every day. People who minimize food choices lose more weight" You on a Diet. Because of this, there is a lot of repetition for my meals. However, you can cook certain things a thousand ways, and they will not be the same thing twice. It is hard to get bored on Weight Watchers if you do it right, and plan a comprehensive Menu including snacks.

Because I want you to create your own menu, I will be including sections for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks to make it a little easier for you. This diet menu is probably going to best for someone on the go because of its quick nature.

This is 3 very typical breakfasts. If I want sweet, I pick the right column, sweet and grains, the left. If I am SUPER HUNGRY in the A.M., I usually choose the third column.

Save Cash on Weigh Watchers!

11/2 tbsp FF Syrup and 2 sprays of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter on each as a treat.
2 1/4 Cup FF Egg Substitute, 2 slices of Wonder Lite or Weight Watcher's Bread, 1/4 cup veggies.
3 2 Slices of FF Turkey, lettuce, and a thin slice of tomato. Mustard to taste.
4 Tuna is mixed w/ 1/4 cup Salsa, 1/4 cup Refried Beans, topped with crunchy romaine lettuce
5 Taco Salad = 1/4 cup lean ground turkey, 1/2 cup refried beans, 1/4 cup fat free salsa
6 A Cabbage/Vegetable soup made w/ FF broth. It is actually really yummy if you spice it up!

Cool Tips

  • You can microwave 1/4 egg substitute for 1 min. 30 seconds, and you have an instant omelet w/ no oil needed. You can even add in diced veggies, and 1/2 tbsp fat free grated cheese for zero points.
  • That egg sandwich is really filling, and actually really yummy and FAST! You could do it open faced or skip the bread entirely without a problem, I usually eat in the car, though.
  • Lunch is always the hardest meal of the day! Especially at work... Good luck!
    I ate a lot of WW, Smart Choice, or other "Healthy" Microwave dinners for lunch. Salt can slow down your weight loss, so watch it!
  • All American Flame Grilled Boca Burgers are 1 point each!

Great tips! I've done WW on and off for years, but it's hard to stick to points. I like your menus, though.
