If you are an obese teenager or a parent concerned about your teen weight please read on. In the US there are 64 percent overweight people, approx 27 percent are obese. So you are not in this boar alone.

If you are going to loose some extra pounds it's archive by two methods.

  • Working Out: If you build muscles you burn more calories.
  • Eating less or more healthy foods: If you reduce your calorie intake you will loose weight.

My best tips for weight loss for teens are:

  • Exercise once a day for about 1hour.
  • Eat breakfast, mostly foods with high protein concentration. Fish and meat contains much protein, don't eat toast and cereal with sugar.
  • Don't eat more than approx 1800 calories a day. Don't go under 1200 because it's can cause serious health problems.
  • Stop eating in from of the television or computer. Sit down with your family at your dinner table and enjoy a good conversation with your beloved family. If you are single try to put on relaxing music.
  • Buy a Nintendo WII, it's fun and makes you want to workout.
