Remember way back when when all of us as kids had the faboulous toy known as a hula hoop. Well I was looking around today and come across something called a weighted hula hoop.

This sure brought back a lot of memories as Im sure it will with you.  It seemed that every where a person looked there was hula hoops spinning around peoples waists.  Let me tell you thats a blast from the past.

However its not the past any more and it seems there is a new dog in town.  Its called the weighted hula hoop and its not only built for fun but for execize as well. 

I started looking around the internet and found out that weighted hula hoops are becoming quite popular just like their counter parts the hula hoop.

I found out a bunch of neat stuff like how great of exercise they are for your hips, thighs and your cardio vascular system.  So now you really can mix fitness with fun.

I also found out that quite a few people make their own weighted hula hoops to use.  It only takes a few items from your local lumber yard and you are in business.  If building themselves isnt your thing then there is starting to be more and more places on and off line where you can purchase them ready made.

Once again its just proof how things keep revolving in society.  We are seeing many of the same hair styles, clothing styles and show styles from days gone by all returning.  Now we have graduated from hula hoops to weighted hula hoops.

I just thought it was a neat little fact that I found online so I thought I would share it here.
