Welbilt Bread Machine - What You Should Know Before Baking Bread With It
72Welbilt braed machine - bread baking tips
Baking bread may seem to require a lot of hard work and techniques for many. It is however not the case when you are using a bread machine. Here you will find a list of tips you need to know when baking bread with a Welbilt bread machine.
Take your bread pan out before pouring ingredients in
If you simply pour your ingredients into your bread pan while it is still inside the housing of your Welbilt bread machine, it is very likely that you will have some of the ingredients accidentally spilled into the housing which will waste some of the milk, flour and such and as well requires you to do some extra cleaning work. And if the spilled ingredients got inside the housing of the bread machine, they might damage the bread machine in the long run.
Measure your ingredients accurately
It could affect the result of your bread a lot if you are not having the exact amount of ingredients as the recipe listed. Like if you do not get enough yeast, the bread may result in a smaller size than desired. Or if you use too much water, there will be a lot of holes found inside the bread. And you should always view your measuring cup at eye level and use a knife to remove the excess ingredients from a measuring spoon.
Add yeast as the last ingredient
It is important that you add yeast as the last ingredient as yeast should not be in direct contact with liquid before the mixing starts. Otherwise, the yeast will not carry out its function properly later which may not be able to make the dough rise enough or result in a small loaf of bread. If you are going to use the timer, you should try making a little well in your floating flour and pour your yeast in it.

Baking bread with a Welbilt bread machine
Check the dough after kneading for five minutes
For better result, after the Welbilt bread machine has been kneading for five minutes, you may open the lid and check the consistency of your dough. If it is forming well in a perfectly soft condition, you can close the lid and let the kneading work continues. However, if you find the dough too dry, you should now add some water and if you find the dough too wet, you may add some flour. You should add the ingredient bit by bit like one tablespoon of water or flour each time to find out the right amount.
Check your baking pan if your kneading blade does not work
You should check your baking pan if it has been clicked into its place. The kneading blade would not start to operate if your baking pan is not attached firmly in the housing of your Welbilt bread machine.
Reverse the plug if it does not fit with the outlet
It is a safety design that the plug of a Welbilt bread machine only fits in a polarized outlet one way and not another. So if the plug does not fit in, you should reverse the plug and try again. However, if it still does not fit, you should not force it. You should contact a qualified electrician instead.
Use the timer button to bake bread later
By using the timer button, you can delay the baking process up to 13 hours later. To enjoy freshly home-made bread in the morning, you only need to use this button to set the time when you would like the process to start.
Five beeping sound indicating the bread is finished
When the bread baking process has finished in a Welbilt bread machine, you will hear five beeping sounds telling you that your bread is ready.
Keep warm feature
When the baking is finished, the Welbilt bread machine will automatically keep the bread warm by circulating hot air inside the housing of the bread machine. And a beeping sound will be heard for every five minutes. If you would like to stop the machine and take the loaf out, you can simply press the start/ stop button and hold until a beeping sound is heard.
Always unplug the bread machine when not in use
A Welbilt bread machine must be unplugged when the bread baking process has been finished and the bread machine is not in use.
