Weller WLC100 (40W) Soldering Station is a nice and one of the most trusted, tested and successful soldering station. Even thought it is called a consumer soldering station, it is suitable in electronics manufacturing and rework and for hobbyists.

Weller WLC100 Soldering Station: Review

I have used this soldering station and can assure you it is an excellent soldering station. It is best suited for DIY hobbyists and students. The ergonomic design and comfortable grip of the soldering iron eliminates any fatigue while working. Just make sure to keep the temperature as low as possible. Do not unnecessarily use more than the required temperature or the tip will depreciate too quickly. Keep the tip clean with the cleaning sponge / pad and tin it will solder before and after soldering.
