Scenic Drive
I have enjoyed driving through West Virginia I'll admit it. I'd like to spend more time there but doesn't seem to happen. On my last adventure through I was able to get in more than one day and it was worth it. First we stopped in the Challenger Learning Center in Wheeling where the kids climbed aboard a space station. That was really cool. Then we went to the Mountain Craft Shop in New Martinsville where they made reproductions of toys from yesteryear. I was going to say my childhood but that makes me feel really old. For my husband we went to Paden City to the Marble King since he insists on showing the kids how to play marbles. We then headed to Sisterville where I managed to pick up some great antiques and books. I know next time we take a trip I'm planning more days in West Virginia. Those few days weren't nearly enough for me.
Why Teen Drivers Ed?
Teen drivers are either accountable for or a part of nearly a third of all car accidents nowadays. Many of these accidents will result in either the grim injury or loss of life of at least one teen involved, concluding in the death of nearly three out of five teenagers each year. Driver's education, if applied appropriately, can reduce this number of senseless deaths each year, but additional work is necessary on the part of each state. The prospectus of learning driving customs needs to have more complete information added, and instructors need to be better prepared with the crucial knowledge to pass on to inexperienced drivers. A lot of teens now have the choice of online driver's education. The internet is one of the most trendy meeting places in the world of our era, and offering the knowledge that teens need to facilitate driving more carefully in this arena is a stroke of genius. Many states offer courses online, and teens or adults the same can profit from their driver's education experience in the coziness of their own homes now. Whether you are studying for the written exam for the first time or the fiftieth, what more can one ask than being able to learn from home? Teens can diminish the number of car accidents they have and dispose of the number of unnecessary deaths due to car accidents just by applying the learning skills that they discover in driver's education, making this is an opportunity that will be of advantage to them for the remainder of their lives.

West Virginia Driver’s Education Requirements
Unlike many other states in the United States, West Virginia does not have a mandatory driver's education program. However, many drivers' education programs are available as electives and are a great idea for teen drivers.
These drivers lack the experience and skills necessary to make good driving decisions and understand the consequences of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. A licensed driver age 21 must accompany those driving with a learner's permit in the front passenger seat or older at all times. They must remain infraction-free for a minimum of at least 6 months before they can apply for a regular driver's license. There are also time restrictions placed on those driving with a learner's permit, unless they meet extenuating circumstance or accompanied driver restrictions.
You must be at least 15 years old to apply for and receive a learner's permit in the state of West Virginia. You may take many of the practice tests online. You will also need proof of enrollment in school (or why you are not enrolled) in order to get a learner's permit. Remember, driving is a privilege, not a right, and privileges can be revoked on command. Always buckle up and practice safe driving habits.
