I am a 1.6 handicap and I struggle to break 80 on this golf course from the tips. This course has stunning Western Mass views, and most holes are perched on the side of a mountain. It’s a course that will test your patience. It’s also a risk reward course where the slightest miscue can cost you a quick stroke. With all the woods and water on this course, the strokes add up quickly. Don’t be surprised if you shoot ten strokes over you handicap here. Walking this course is a challenge for most and I would definitely recommend a golf car. This is a must play for anyone in the New England area. From the first hole to the last you will rarely be able to see any kind of roads or buildings; this Course is truly carved into the woods, down into a valley, along ponds and streams, and into the mountain. You’ll feel at ease the whole day, enjoying 18 holes of golf course, experiencing all New England has to offer from its foliage to the wildlife; all the while playing a great golf course with a wonderful staff.
