Preface

I have been wanting to do this hub for awhile.  I have heard many try to explain why only a small percentage of the people who have, are and will ever live on earth will not even hear of Jesus Christ, let alone be able to develop faith and any and all things to recieve salvation.

Some believe that they will be damned for ever.  Other believe that they are innocent, not being given the law, so that are automatically saved.

I just can't believe a perfect God, would allow such things to happen.  He has perfect justice. It would be very unfair that a person born in the middle of China to be damned for eternity just by where he/she was born.  Or vice versa, be automatically saved, while we have to be tested and earn our salvation.

The true gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us other wise.  There are a few versus of the Bible that are written out of almost coincidental, that showed that the teachings in Jesus's and the apostles'.  These are not ready understood by most.

What The Bible Says

1 Peter 3:18-20 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

One of the purposes that Jesus allowed himself to die, was so that he could go in to the Spirit World (place of existence between death and resurrection) as a spirit. Here he initiated the teaching to those that those spirits that were in prison and could not proceed without the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is easy to discern here that it is talking about the dead because Peter referenced the people who died in the time of Noah. This is summed up great in the next quoted scripture.

1 Peter 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

This is very clear to state that the gospel was taught to those that were dead that they may judged according to the people who heard the gospel in the flesh. And that they may live gospel of God as spirits.

These two scripture makes it very clear that all people who ever have, are and will live on the earth, will have the opportunity to hear and learn the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is what was taught by the apostles of old. Yet, there is more in the Bible about this.

1 Corinthians 15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead risedead? not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

The dead do not have way to be baptized and do some of the ordinances required for the gospel. The Lord has provided a method that is acceptable to hm, that another person may be baptized by proxy and it will be acceptable to the Lord. This was taught and practiced in the days of Jesus Christ and the apostles.

The Lord our God is a just and merciful God. He is perfect. He loves us all, and has provided paths by which everyone of his children will be able to return to him, if they develop the faith and do what is commanded of them to do. Everyone will have a chance to learn of His gospel and receive the saving ordinances. It is His plan.  I know because I have studied and prayed about the truthfulness of this, and have recieved confermation by The Holy Ghost that it is true.  I leave this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Nice story

But your mistake is.

De:30:19: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

1 Peter 4:6 Is talking about the living dead, people that have not chosen life in Christ have not entered life, so they are dead while they are still alive. They only get one chance to enter life and that is while they are still alive.

There is a HUB I read very interesting, on this matter called Death what now....http://hubpages.com/hub/Death-What-now

encourage you further go well

Thanks for commenting Grim, I know many people interpretate these versus this way, but I disagree with them.

De 30:19 was given to those that had the gospel, not to the people without the gospel at that time.

Thanks for hubbin by.

If Christ is anything, he is fair and his love is so pervasive. But he gives everyone the same opportunity to accept life everlasting or not. It's called man's agency. He can't overrule free agency. It is one of those guaranteed rights, as is life itself, that Christ must adhere to. Otherwise, he would exercise Satin-like dominion over the people and all of this would be a sham. He wants all mankind - those who chose his gospel in the flesh and those who didn't have the chance due to accept it due to no fault of their own -- to someday be with him in heaven. But before that grand day of final judgment, many of us believe that there will be a 1,000-year period of time when Satan will be bound and the earth will be ruled by Jesus Christ. There will be in that existence both those who accepted Jesus by Baptism and those that did not have the opportunity due to no fault of their own. The gospel of Jesus Christ will be taught, just as it is being taught today, by representatives of Christ and most people call them missionaries. Don White

Yes, Don, I did not even mention the 1000 years that Jesus will use to finish up all of the work, and turn the books of life over to our Father. Thanks for this comment.

The people who have died will still be spirits, in the spirit world and recieving the gospel during this time also.

Keep on Hubbing!
