What Accessories To Upgrade On Your Computer
44Improving Your Computer Accessories
Let us identify first the computer accessories that I am talking about here. I am referring to hardwares added to your computer in order for you to have the fullness of multimedia experience and office works. I am particularly referring to keyboards, speakers, mouse, and printers.
1. Mouse. I personally have used a number of kinds of mouse. Roller mouse now are almost obsolete. I would say that roller mouse are very lousy accessory of your computer if you have one. Upgrade it to optical mouse. There are two main types of optical mouse, the wireless and the traditional plug and play mouse. I personally DO NOT recommend the wireless (unless really needed) mouse.
Aside from being more expensive, wireless mouse sometimes experiences signal disruptions that couses the cursor to have back logs. It's not good for your gaming experience.
2. Keyboards. There are variety of keyboards in the market. I am already satisfied with ordinary keyboards for they can already deliver the job that I need. I tried buying a suppose to be good keyboard because it has a special feature of "Anti RSI" and which causes it to have a tripled price compare to the ordinary keyboard. Unfortunately, after three months of using, the keyboard starts showing some problems. Sometimes, it even stops working in the middle of the game. I hate that keyboard.
3. Speakers. I strongly recommend 2.1 watts of speakers. You don't need too loud speakers. It can damage your ear drums. I found a great deal of speaker. Try to look for Creative speaker which have 2.1watts of power. They are a lot cheaper, around $20 compared to $100 worth of speakers yet delivers almost the same quality of sound.
4. Printers. Buying printers also have some tricks. If you can buy a laser printer, the better. Though it is more expensive than ink jets, the cost of printing per page in the long run is still way cheaper than that of ink jets. But if you prefer ink jets, buy those printers whose print heads are on the ink cartridge itself. There are only two brands of printers that I know who uses this kind of technology as far as my knowledge is concern, the Lexmark and the HP.
