Hemorhhoid symptoms can be easily detected though a lot of people who suffer from hemorrhoids may not have the symptoms. People who suffer from bleeding hemorrhoids can experience pain and soreness that can affect the normal activities in their everyday lives. The condition can be irritating and horrible so it is essential to find the right hemorrhoids treatment.

What are hemorhhoid symptoms? Hemorrhoids happen when the blood vessels in the anal area become swollen. This condition is usually caused by severe pressure in the anal region and the lower rectum due to strain during the bowel movement. Some of the major factors that cause hemorrhoids are aging, constipation, pregnancy and even heredity. The condition can be internal wherein hemorrhoids are situated inside the anus and it can be external when the problem occurs around the anal area.

Though a lot of people may suffer from hemorrhoids, not all individuals will have the symptoms. In order to determine if you are suffering from the condition, here are some of the common symptoms that you need to know:

  1. If you see bright red blood that covers the stool, you may have internal hemorrhoid. However, this condition can start to protrude in the anus area to the outside part of the body that can cause pain and irritation.
  2. For external hemorrhoids, hard lump or painful swelling around the anal area can be experienced.

Some hemorhhoid symptoms are also caused by excessive rubbing, scratching or straining the anus and this can lead to irritation and the development of bleeding hemorrhoids. According to studies, pregnant women have higher risk of acquiring the condition because of severe pressure from the fetus in the womb. Furthermore, hormonal changes can also cause the blood vessels in the anal area to get bigger.
