71What Does "God Speed" Mean?
I have to admit I don't spend all my time writing Dog Food Reviews and Cat Food Reviews. I watch a lot of movies on DVD while I'm writing reviews and when I'm not writing.
One thing I've noticed a lot of, in nearly every movie I've watched, at some point in the movie a person will say to another person, "God Speed".
I feel a little like a "dim bulb" for not knowing what this simple term means. I decided I should enlighten myself and look up the term. Here's what I learned:
God Speed or Godspeed -simply means "success".
Well, I feel better now that I know what this term means and maybe you will to the next time you are watching a movie and someone says "God Speed".
Whew, I'm glad I got that off my mind!
