What Does Google Really Want?
54Just What Makes Google Love You?
I think giving Google and other search engines what they really love the most is a solid way to build a long term traffic plan. Building your presence online on a regular basis is ultimately going to give results.
So what is it Google loves so much? Original content. Google wants to provide relevant and unique results for searches. If they don't, who needs Google?
A little while ago I read a forum post about how The Trout Nut site gets 10,000 new visitors a month (likely more now) and saw a real world example of how content generates traffic.
He went on to say that 5000 of the searches are only done once a month. He never really did SEO originally, he didn’t even start the site to make money. He likes trout so wrote extensively about them, what they eat, pictures of the stuff trout eat, just all kinds of stuff about trout. Content Content Content and Original Content.
If you want more traffic to your website ask yourself, how much time do I spend creating content.
Whatever you create there is someone who shares this interest with you and will be looking for inforamtion about this.
