Success is what you belive it to be!
A GENERAL DEFINITION OF SUCCESS
Success: Having goals by deciding what you want, when you want to have it. Then, meeting and/or surpassing those goals by implementing definite strategies and measuring your efforts in the pursuit of the fulfillment of those goals.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?
Success means different thing to different people and success comes in different areas for different people. There are eight core units that people grade their success in. Those areas are Mind, Body, Money, Work, Social Life, Relationships, Belief and Family. There are a lot of comonalities in how people define success. Think about what success means to you and what areas are most important in your life.
Now define what success means to you:
1. Define what success to you looks like.
2. What would have to be evident for you to know you are truly successful?
3. How would you know you are successful?
4. How would others know you are successful?
5. How do you recognize success in others?
Take some time and write down your answers.
When you are done put that success into action!

Thanks earnesshub for the great coment. That is a good point you make--success can be personal. I also believe succes is like art, it is in the eye of the beholder. What you think success looks like might be different from what I think success looks like. You do have to listen--to yourself, others and the stars. Sometimes we miss the signs that will lead us down the path to success.
Maybe when we have finished a certain degree, work and have good a salary. Sucess in business and happy family might be considered success but maybe wiithout happiness it's an empty success.

Some success is very personal. I think you can strive to be a good citizen, parent, husband or wife without much planning but a fair bit of listening.
Good teachers and good politicians I consider to be very successful as they can add so much to the life of others.
