What Hubpages Did Not Tell You
66What Hubpages will Not Tell You
One of the bitter and sweet truths about anyone in business is to make profits. I’m not averse to the fact that hubpages is an excellent revenue generating site for writers like you and me. My little journey in the public world of “internet entrepreneurship” via writing on the internet made me to realize one simple truth:
“ Making money online through writing is not easy”
Hubpages is in business to make money and they realize that for them to make money, they need you and I to write like jackal on their website, however, the system is so structures in a way that it will be a mutual benefit to both parties. The more writers and write ups (hubs) on their site; the higher the traffic and automatically the higher the revenue (earnings).
Hubpages simply refuse to tell you:
1) Making money through them is not for lazy people
2) To make money through them, you need to write your ass off i.e you need to write rich, creative, distinct contents like a jackal non stop.
3) You need to write at least 3 hubs every day
4) You need to take it as serious business; making money on hubpages through their system needs to be approached with a business perspective
5) Dedicate time and efforts to it
That’s all. To your success.

it's all about quality and quantity.
I will join you in the forum soon.
You are absolutely right. They didn't tell us all that but thank goodness we are smart enough to figure it out sooner than later especially with help from hubs like this. Thanks for the post.
Well, it's like anything else, I guess. If you work real hard, use your brains, and are very productive, you can make money. But not everyone is here to make money.
Hubpages can't tell you everything, that will take the fun out of it. I didn't find out till recently about the 60/40 adsense time split, now we have to figure out at what times i the writers 60 split come up.
Regards
Great information...it takes a lot of work to make money online!
This is interesting, I keep trying to work out if I missed out on some information about how you make money by writing.
I do n't regret joining hubpages because I have learnt a lot of new skills and people are helpful.
But 3 hubs a day and I'd have to give up on sleeping and eating, maybe I am putting too much into them. Thanks for the information.
I couldn't agree with you more. It really requires alot of time and quality to get some money on your account. I have learned alot last 2 months and still learning. I have found out alot of people have great hubs and willing to help. It is definately a long term investment.
Thank you for your time..Your hubs are helpful as well.
Hello KazzemJames01
You got it right on the money. I wish I could write three hubs a day. But I have a job, family and friends. I can't even write a hub a day that is if I want to write quality hubs. You have written quite a few hubs in a short period of time. What is your secret?
Thanks for all the nice things you said about my hubs and I am joining your fan club.
hey, I like your stuff too! Thanks for sharing important information. I noticed that you are not using Amazon, or any backlinks in you articles. Those are great ways to keep people on your content and another revenue stream. I will look at more of your hubs. See you around
very nice hub. A lot is true, but I know people doing well with one new hub every other day. Good luck! -Carol
I'm on here to make a little money very slowly! I like your energy though KazeemJames! I found the last comment interesting Carol the Writer says only one every other day, man that's pretty good. Mostly, I think my writing has been improving and I like developing a group of fans! Good luck KJ!
I like this hub KazeemJames. I'm aiming for one hub a day because I want them to be good ones. The income sure is important but I also love to write and want my readers to be entertained as well as informed. Thanks so much for becoming my fan. I am also your fan.
I like your hubs in this topic and in the natural healing topic. Happy to join your fan club!
Hello KazeenJames01, you have a great deal of cool stuff to read, you've got a new fan! Cheers!
I appreciate the comments and opinion on everybody in here. Thanks
Okay - let me be the fly in the ointment, and say I don't totally agree, though I did enjoy the hub and appreciate most of the points. For one, I can see a lot of frustration in a lot of the comments, that's why I direct a lot of my writing to "frustrated writers". I have been one, and I will be one again, cause that's the writer's life. But come on guys - NO ONE should have to tell us that if we want to have anything in this crummy ass world that we're going to have to do SOMETHING for it! Why should Hubpages and writing online be any different.
I don't believe you need to write 3 hubs a day, because if you're not monetizing properly (formatting and setting your hubs for profit), 30 hubs a day may not help! You want to make more money? This is not a self promo because another Hubber wrote it. My point is, stuff like the information in that hub will get you paid. If you don't understand certain points or don't know what they even refer to, that lets you know where your weakness is and what to work on. I try to read and learn from hard concrete info. instead of marketing hype and generalizations. But one thing is for sure - Kazeemjames01 is right on target - IT TAKES HARD WORK.
@charm_baker.....you are absolutely right. Hardwork is the key
You are very correct. I am a business owner and have even dabbled in the internet scheme from time to time. I find it much easier to make a living at my business than here with you. My hat is off to those who are successful here online.
Cheers and good luck in your ventures!
D. :)
You have some good hubs James. You are definitely a hard worker!
Very true. An eye-opener especially for new hubbers. Thanks for sharing James!
Very true kazeemjames. Like a jackal, my Man!
