What You Can Do To Lose Weight Really Fast

According to most studies it is not healthy to lose weight really fast. But, you have to take into consideration what really fast is and how much weight is too much weight to lose quickly. If you were tipping the scales at around 200 pounds like I was then a weight loss of 5 or 6 pounds a week would be ideal. An achievable amount of weight loss for you if you are 300 pounds could be about 10 pounds of weight loss per week. Rapid weight loss is ultimately relative to your current physical condition and your overall weight.

Get in shape to lose weight
I would venture to guess that you probably aren't in the best of condition just like I was. If you were in good shape then you wouldn’t need to lose a lot of weight. I guess you know where this is going. If you have any hope of losing weight really fast you need to get off the couch and start some type of exercise program. You don't have to hire Bob or Jillian from "The Biggest Loser" to start burning calories but you need to do something to help your body lose that weight.

Start today to lose weight really fast
Start today by going for a walk right after you eat your low calorie meal. It doesn’t have to be a marathon. It's not necessary to start by power walking. Take a walk in the nearest park where there are other health oriented people sharing their commitment of daily exercise. There is strength in numbers and you will see other people that are also trying to lose weight really fast.

While you are restricting your calories and starting to lose weight you will be able to exercise at an even greater pace. You will find that walking down the stairs has now become much less of a chore. Challenge yourself everyday to walk a little further. If yesterday you walked once around the block today try and go twice around the block.

Before you even realize it you will be walking further and with less effort then when you first started. You will be amazed to notice that you are losing weight faster then you ever did in the past. Your body is burning more calories then you are taking in and you are looking and feeling great.

When you begin to start feeling healthier your goals of losing weight really fast are becoming a reality. Your goal for the second week should be to match the first weeks losses. Look with anticipation to getting on that scale. Don't be afraid of getting on the scale any longer. When it comes to losing weight you realize it is your new best friend. You won't get any lies from it only the hard truth. It is honest and you have to be honest with it. Every time you eat something you know is bad for you, what you are doing is lying to your new best friend.

To lose 5 pounds it takes knowledge and effort.
With the right amount of effort it is possible to lose weight really fast. It is possible to lose weight really fast, I am living proof. You have to really understand what your body is capable of and what you can hope to realistically achieve each week. If you can realistically lose 5 pounds a week then shoot for that goal. If you try to lose more weight than this you may just be shooting yourself in the foot for no reason other than an unrealistic expectation.
