What I Do to Stay Fit and Healthy

We have a saying that health is wealth, right? Now, if you want to save some money (wealth), why not make your body healthy. Especially these days where everything is expensive, food, medicine, etc., it is not good to be sick. We must really take care of our body. It is very easy and here are the things that I do:
Hydration
1.) I drink lots of water.
I see to it that I drink eight large glasses of water a day. Why drink lots of water? Our body is made up mostly of water. The water acts as lubricants in our body. It makes our body function well. If we do not get enough, our metabolism slows down and we experience fatigue.
Exercise
2.)Do stretching and bending.
Upon waking up in the morning, I do a couple minutes of bending and stretching. I stretch my arms, legs and back. This will increase blood flow to all parts of our body. Just like a car that it needs to warm up its engine, bending and stretching warms up our body. It will help our body get set for the day.
3.) I move my body after bending and stretching.
I walk at least 30 minutes a day. I walk as briskly as I can. How would you know that you are doing the right thing? When you walk, walk fast and exaggerate the movement of your arms or when you walk with a companion, walk fast that the two of you cannot make a conversation with each other. That is the right brisk walking. If you do not like walking outside, you can do the treadmill exercise. If you have the exercise bikes, you can do that also. Any exercise equipment will do as long as your body moves. By the way, moving in the morning triggers an increase in metabolism that last into the day.
Healthy Foods
4.) I eat healthy foods.
Healthy diet means eating only healthy foods. I eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. I just steamed the veggies so that the vitamins are retained. I like salad also, mixed fruits and vegetables. I eat more of fish and less of pork and beef. I also eat whole foods. Healthy eating means healthy body.
Vitamins and Supplements
5.) Take vitamins and supplements.
Everyday I take vitamins and health supplements. I take vitamin C for protection against cough and colds. Before, I usually have colds in the morning but when I maintain my vitamin C, I seldom get colds already. I also take multivitamins a day. Dietary supplements help boost our immune system. The stronger our immune system, the more resistant our body can be against disease.
Good Night Sleep
6.) Sleep at least eight hours a day.
I see to it that I sleep from 10 in the evening up to six in the morning because I have read from an article from a health magazine that the best time to sleep at night is during this time. It is on these hours where our body is healing the damage cells inside our body.
Try these things. It really makes me feel great and active.
