What I Learned While Doing the 100 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge
73What I Learned While Doing the 100 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge
This hub you are reading right now is my 100th hub in the 100 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge. I completed the challenge. Did I learn anything from this challenge?
I actually learned quite a bit from doing this challenge. I learned that I started out really strong in this challenge and then tried to keep a steady pace afterwards. I found that because I am having personal issues, dealing with severe back pain, there were some days that I just didn't feel like writing. There were days I felt like doing nothing at all but crawling into my shell and staying there.
I never really learned this while doing the challenge because I already knew this. I knew I would finish this challenge on time. Even though I had things come up unexpectedly and I knew I was dealing with pain issues, I still knew I could finish this challenge.
I learned some very valuable tips about writing hubs while doing this challenge. I learned that writing from my heart and writing about what interests me was probably some of my best writing to date. I also learned that those hubs didn't necessarily bring in the money from adsense. However, I still enjoyed writing them very much.
I learned a method of writing that seemed to bring me the most traffic and the most money on hubpages. I do not really want to give this tip away because it is something I am going to focus on in later hubs.
I learned that yes, you can make money on hubpages because I am making a bit of money from my hubs. I'm not making a lot, but then I've only been here at hubpages for two months now. I do expect that my income will increase month to month here.
I learned that I have gained some very valuable friends during this challenge on hubpages. BadCo, you were an inspiration to me during this challenge and you are definitely someone I will never forget. You are my best buddy in the entire world. I love you man. Everyday Miracles, you are someone I would love to get to know better. We had some pretty interesting discussions on the forums and I admire you very much. Ixxy, I love you too. You gave me so many tips on how to improve my work during this challenge. I will never forget you for that and I do hope to get to know you better as well.
One other thing that I learned during this challenge is that there was no time to read other hubs from other writers. I promise that I will make an effort now to go back and catch up on some good reading and I apologize to all my fans for not being able to read their work. I'm going to get to it, I promise.
Would I do this challenge again? Yes, in a heartbeat.

Hey BadCo, you are welcome for that and I meant every word I said.
CONGRATS! And I love you too. =)
aweee thanks lxxy!!!
Congratulations on completing the 100 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge.
Hi lindagoffigan, thank you so much!
Congrats! I tried the challenge but I didn't realize how limited I was on quiet time to write (with a house full of kids) and access to the internet. But I learned that I can be more productive than I had been in the past.
RGraf, thank you very much for your comment. There were times I wanted to give up but I kept on going and I had lots of quiet time so that played a big factor.
Congratulations! I do hope you get your back problem some help. No one should have to live in pain. Keep going, all of your hubs were great. I admire your determination.
dori
Aweee, dori, thank you so much for your comment. I'm waiting to get a cortisone shot for my back.
congratulations on your achievement. Well done for being one of the last ones standing.
I look forward to your hubs about the most affective methods to make money with hubpages.
Thanks for your comment, tiptopcat and someday I will write those hubs.
Congrats!
thank you sunresa!!!
Congratulations!!! That was an awesome job!!! I also checked out some of your stories, they're very good.
D Cortez, thank you for your comment. It was fun writing all those hubs too and I'm glad you liked my story.
Well done! You did good!
Thank you cindyvine, I appreciate your comment.
congratulation. :)
thank you mysticalrose
Congrats on completing the challenge. I'm checking out some of your hubs now.
Thanks for your comment Ms_Info. I hope you enjoy reading my hubs.
Wow. That's alot of writing. My fingers would be kinda sore after that.
I am truly inspired with you 100 hubs; your hubs certainly signify that it's not required to become an expert writer, what we need is a simple imformative approach..keep it up
If you are a Content Buyer or Content Writer, please visit the site www.glocalwriters.com
Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment, especially with everything else going on in your life.
I can relate to your comment about not having time to read as much of other people's hubs as you'd like. I'm in that boat. It's a tough thing to try to juggle ... most of my "free time" to red and write is from 10:30pm until whenever I go to bed, and most of that time is spent writing. But yes, reading other works is important for inspiration, education, fellowship, and "hub support."
Nicely done!
WhiteDude Joe, simplyglobal, and nutuba, thank you for your comments. WhiteDude Joe my fingers and my brain were getting a litte sore after that challenge, hee hee and simplyglobal, I've always taken the simple informative approach to writing. I always write from the heart and write what I know about. Nutuba, I think fellowship and support for other hubbers is definitely important.
Congratulations on reaching the finish line. :) Ready to start another 100--Hub challenge next month? :)
hey lisa hw - are you ready? I will if you will
Three cheers, dwilliamson. Quite an accomplishment.
Thank you William F. Torpey. I appreciate your comment. I would do the challenge again in a heartbeat.
Congratulations !!!you have done a great job... I hope you are feeling better......
thank you for your comment, MM Del Rosario. I am just really starting to get back on my feet now. Hopefully I will just keep getting better. I have my good days and my bad days.
Congratulations, you're a goer and a winner, well done, I was tempted and then thought oh forget it when I had trouble finding where to go to register, I'm so glad I did, I guess it's different strokes for different folks. I'm amazed that you did not crash.
I guess the money wasn't worth it, which I suspected was going to happen and what it was supposed to be all about.
thank you for your comment katyzzz. I actually made about $30 for last month in adsense so I don't think that was too bad. I think my adsense will increase overtime.I only started on hubpages two months ago.
Well done on the 100 hubpages ! And you listed them all - a good job HP doesn't consider promoting HP pages overly promotional ! A 100 pages in 30 days is some going I don't think I would have what it takes to get that many done - congratulations !
Hi Singular Investor, thank you for your comment and I don't think HP considers listing HP pages overly promotional. I haven't been flagged. I was worried about that though but I wanted everyone to see all 100 hubs that I wrote during the challenge.
A 100 thumbs Up for sticking with it!
KwameG thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it!
Well done! Looks like you came up with lots of good ideas for those hubs too.
Thank you for your comment, Barbara Yurkoski. I appreciate it very much!

Congratulations on completing the challenge. I admire the diversity of your list of hubs.
Kidgas, thank you for your comment. I enjoyed this challenge very much.
Goodness you have only been with HP for 2 months and have written all of those hubs....... You are an inspiration. Thank you, I needed that.
Tesa Adams, thank you for your comment and it is nice to feel that I am able to inspire others to write, makes me want to keep going.
your awesome I would never had been able to do something like that.
gurgel1, thank you for your comment. It wasn't really all that difficult to do though. I was getting burnt out near the end but that was because of other crap going on in my life, not the challenge itself.
Hi. I'm a new hubber, just joined a week ago. I've seen the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge and I'm really interested in joining one. Your hub is an inspiration and what you have achieved is something I hope to also achieve in the future. Please, please announce when the next challenge will begin. Thank you!
emievil, welcome to hubpages and thank you for your comment. While I am not the one that will be announcing the next challenge, I can say that I did learn a lot from that challenge and I am looking forward to another one too if there is one.
Congratulations! One hundred hubs in a month is no simple task. I'm glad that you were able to keep with it!
Epsilon6 thank you for the comment and it was a little difficult to do because of other things in my life but I was able to do it and I am also doing the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge right now.
Wow, that is inspiring. I would love to do the same challenge. Congrats on your 100 hubs.
voinetwork, I am so glad that my 100 hubs are inspiring to you. You can do the challenge anytime you want to.
