I have been working with computers and systems since the late 1960's. But I still am a "beginner" when it comes to utilizing the potential of a computer and the internet. As a matter of fact, I rely on my son, who is an IT with a national company, to advise me on what I need to be able to do what I want. I also seek advice from one of my daughters who is quite computer savvy.

I have an IBM ThinkPad with wireless capability. My internet connection is DSL, when I am at home. I use Windows XP and Internet Explorer.

Previously, my use of the computer was for email, online banking, some shopping, and instant messaging with the family when we were traveling. During a recent trip to Mountain View, AR, I decided to try and make some money online. My son had told me that he didn't know of a way to make money online without some money investment and a lot of effort. I want to see what I can do and how little it will cost me.

I would appreciate and actively seek suggestions from anyone who has successfully made money online.
