Almost two years ago I had a life changing experence. I relized that I was unable to be happy with my body. Every morning I would try my best to avoid the mirror just so I would not get hurt by my low self-esteem. Something in my life had to change, my unhealthy life style was disfigureing me, what little was me anymore. So I saved for about a month and purchased me a very nice bike, with this bike I began to go riding almost everyday with my friends and before you know it I had lost 20 pounds! With my new found confidence I decided to join a local gym. After a few months of intense cardio followed by a almost unhealthy diet I met my weight loss goal. However once I met my goal their was no muscle left! I had dieted so fast and ate so little I had not only loss weight but my muscle mass. So once again I saved up and bought me my favorite miracle drink in the world; protein powder and hit the weights! Now let me tell you right now weigh lifting is not something you can jump right into. Weight lifting takes some careful dieting and strong determination. At times it's going to seem point less but times like that you have to tell yourself to just keep pushing it! Weight lifting in my opinion can be one of the most beneficial past times in the world. How you may ask? Well like I sad before it builds on characteristics that will help any individual in the future ahead of them. And hey let us not forget the other great benefits! Wouldent you like to be the best looking person on the beach or the strongist person on your sports team? If you answered yes than why not take up weight lifting!
