The Hair On My Upper Lip Looked Horrible...

Nobody’s perfect, my mother always used to say. Everyone has something they don’t like about themselves. For some it’s the size of their nose or the color of their eyes or crooked teeth. For me it has always been my hair. Not the hair on my head, but the hair on my body. As a woman, I have always been a bit hirsute.

The hair on my lip and on my arms is darker and more noticeable than for most women. This has always be a source of embarrassment for me, especially around men. More than a few former boyfriends have commented on it. As you might expect, this only served to make me more self-conscious about it.

From my late teens through my twenties I searched in vain for the best hair removal product. I started out shaving, plucking and used electronic tweezers. Then there was waxing, radiofrequency tweezers and electrolysis. Oh, and the depilatory creams? I must have used every depilatory product on the market. All of them were temporary solutions, and these uncomfortable, even painful procedures had to be repeated every week.

What was the best hair removal product of them all? They were all pretty much the same. Then a friend told me about laser hair removal. Apparently, it was a safe and effective treatment that would remove hair permanently. I made an appointment with a dermatologist that day. I thought that I had finally found the solution to my problem.

Unfortunately, my friend couldn’t have been more wrong. Laser hair removal treatments are not permanent. In fact, they have to be repeated each and every month. Not to mention the fact that they are extremely expensive at around 200 dollars per session. I left the doctor’s office without scheduling a treatment session.

For a while after that I just sort of let myself go. I wore long sleeve shirts during the summer to hide my hairy arms and I stopped going out on dates. I resigned myself to the fact that I would have to live with this flaw. Then one day I was surfing the internet and I saw an advertisement for a product that claimed to be the best hair removal cream on earth. Really, what else were they going to say?

It was called Dermology hair removal cream and they were offering a risk free trial. I didn’t see the harm in trying yet another depilatory, so I placed my order and forgot about it. The package arrived a week later. I actually left it on the kitchen counter for two days before I even got around to opening it. Needless to say, I wasn’t expecting all that much…just another cream that claimed to be the best hair removal product and would get rid of hair for about a week. At least, that’s what I thought.

Reading over the pamphlet that came with the cream, I was surprised to find that it was a single application depilatory. It also claimed to be pain free. Could a product that didn’t cause pain really be the best hair removal cream on earth? I used the product that night on my arms and on my upper lip. I followed the directions and when I removed the cream with a moist washcloth, all of the hair came with it.

I was surprised by how effective it was, but I told myself not to get my hopes up. The real test of any so-called best hair removal cream is how long it takes the hair to return. So, I waited. It has been two months now and my skin is still as smooth as a baby’s backside. I can’t believe I finally found a product that actually works.

If you suffer from the same hair frustration I had, I recommend checking into Dermology hair removal cream.
