What I've Figured Out About the YoVille Game on Facebook
73So far
There are 16 ovens in the sweets factory:
Chocolate chip cookies cost 7 coins to bake, take 4 hours to cook, sell for 25 coins = 18 coins profit for each oven in 4 hours
Coffee cake cost 15 coins to bake, take 6 hours to cook, sell for 37 coins = 17 coins profit for each oven in 6 hours
Cinnamon rolls cost 22 coins to bake, take 8 hours to cook, sell for 43 coins = 21 coins profit for each oven in 8 hours
Angel food cake cost 33 coins to bake, take 12 hours to cook, sell for 58 coins = 25 coins profit per oven in 12 hours
Vanilla cupcakes cost 11 coins to bake, take 24 hours to cook, sell for 45 coins = 34 coins profit per oven in 24 hours
Apple pie cost 18 coins to bake, take 48 hours to cook, sell for 63 coins = 45 coins profit per oven in 48 hours
Yellow cake cost 26 coins to bake, take 72 hours to cook, sell for 83 coins = 57 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Since the longest time is 72 hours break down the profits by that amount of time they take mathematically you come up with:
Chocolate cookies 244 coins profit per oven in 72 hours if you can check on them every 4 hours lol
Coffee cake 204 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Cinnamon rolls 189 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Angel food cake 270 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Vanilla cupcakes 102 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Apple pie 85 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
Yellow cake 57 coins profit per oven in 72 hours
You can earn up to 200 coins for visiting up to 24 neighbors, after 24 neighbors you only get 2 friendship points per friend ,or 3 if it‘s your first visit with them. You also earn the badges for gifting for this. I have 62 friends in yoville so far so I just click on each one to visit them instead of waiting for the invitations to arrive. If you do this you can wait for the friendship action wheel to appear and click on any action you want remember you can only earn 200 coins for visiting so it doesn’t matter which action you use. I send gifts that I’ve found at yoville.com so I don’t have to spend my hard earned coins doing the gifting action.
You are allowed to earn up to 200 coins for playing games:
Tic tac toe 10 coins for a win 5 coins for a tie
Rock Paper Scissors 10 coins for a win
Motocross Racing 10 coins for a win, you also earn the motocross racing badges for this.
Fishing 10 coins for winning
You can trade objects with one another, and some people have supposedly set up businesses, in yoville but I haven’t run into them yet. Nor do I know how to do this.
Then if you go to yoville.com you can earn badges and coins for yoville too:
You can earn 5 coins for each pot of gold that you find up to 20 pots of gold. You also earn the badges for treasure hunter doing this.
You can earn 5 coins for each light switch that you turn on.
There are gifts scattered on various friends pages that you can gather up, and use for your own yopad, or gift to other people.
You used to be able to earn 5 coins for each profile you clean of balloon splats but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that since they changed it.
This is also where you apply to join clubs. I’ve applied for a couple but haven’t received any answers yet. If you want to start your own club that costs real money.
They also hold design contests for rooms and clothing, which I have not participated in yet as I’ve only been playing for a couple of months.
You eventually start running low on energy and must feed yourself, the cheapest place to eat is from the hotdog cart in front of the yo apartments. If you get more than 100 energy points that’s okay you can still use them.
Pets cost you coins to feed, I usually feed my bird every 5 days for 100 coins.
They have a music shop, the items there cost real money.
The newest business in yoville is a beauty parlor which costs coins, and like a real beauty parlor, if you want to maintain your hair-do it takes repeated visits.
When your decorating your yohome you can sell back wall paper and flooring to yodepot after your done using it, and what you’ve used won’t disappear. You can also use one flooring or wall paper throughout your home without buying more.
