It is a new year and with it comes hope. What kind of year will it be? The year will be what you make it. Many of us have faced some real challenges in the past year and times have been tough. We must remember to remind ourselves that we have a choice. We all have the same decision to make for the new year. We can each become victims of our circumstances or we can look at the obstacles that have manifested in our lives as challenges and welcome them with open arms. This may sound strange, but it is a fact that people tend to look deeper into who they really are when they find themselves in situations that are uncomfortable or many times even desperate. We each have unique and wonderful gifts that we were born to share with the world. So use this year to find your true self, your essence. Life is what you make it. You can let it defeat you or learn from what it has to offer. It is your choice.
