What Means To Be in Love
70Meaning of Love
Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places. And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all - one known only by those who love. Love is as critical for your mind and body as oxygen. It's not negotiable.
To love is not exclusive, that cannot be. But from that love, we can choose to be in relationship, an intimate, romantic and beautiful relationship, and then we prioritise that person, and choose to open to them. To love is to risk rejections, to live is to risk dying, to hope is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is risk nothing. To reach for another is to risk involvement, to expose your feelings is to expose your true self. To love is to imitate God in the fullest sense.
To love is to acknowledge that life is not about you.To love is to sometimes suffer. To avoid suffering one sometimes must not love. To love is to accept the verdict without bitterness, without regret, without a smidgen of a doubt. When you love, you risk to get hurt.
Real Love
Real love does not always follow our natural inclinations; it is not an impulse from feelings. Real love is a combination of need, compensation & unconditional love. You may love a person because you need him or her, because you are compensating for the things you don't have or because you love him or her unconditionally.
Real Love is not blind, it only sees what matters. Real love hurts; real love makes you totally vulnerable and open; real love will take you far beyond yourself; and therefore real love will devastate you. Real love is climbing the hills hand in hand, walking thru the valleys with a shoulder to lean on, growing stronger with each trail. Having someone to celebrate the highs and comfort during the lows. Real love is to be happy and to just want them to be happy. You make your choice.
Real love is a decision to seek the good of another no matter the cost. Real love includes nurture, support, encouragement, acceptance, and companionship. Real love is only a one-way traffic. Demons have seen and talked with God after doing long penance. Real Love is caring about the happiness of another person without any thought for what we might get for ourselves. It's also Real Love when other people care about our happiness unconditionally.
Real love is a complete acceptance of the other person, and of oneself. Because if you can't love yourself, who can you love? Real love isn't jealous. Not being jealous is different from not caring. Real love is our total oneness with the object loved and with the possessor of love.
True love is when partners complete one another, when they're together it's peaceful, the whole other world with it's sufferings and problems doesn't exist and nothing even matters.
