Understanding men is a complicated issue. Men don't even understand ourselves. It's difficult to think about how men function. When a woman is in a relationship with a man she is probably dumbfounded by his actions, confused by what he may be thinking or just downright perplexed in general. It's an age old battle of men v. women. The problem is, there are no winners or losers, just a lifelong game.

There are several things men won't admit to women, even if they want to. Men don't know why. It can't be explained, but let's see if we can name a few right now.

Some things men won't tell women:

• Those jeans do make your butt look big! Why would any man admit this? Ladies, if you really want his opinion give him a few choices of dresses or outfits and let him tell you which one looks best. Don't put him on the spot, because he will always lie to save his own butt.
• Yes, I am having an affair. If he is or if he isn't the answer will always be the same, NO! If you suspect your man is cheating you must have a reason. Sorry to say this guys, but if there is smoke there may be fire. The best thing to do if you suspect an affair is stay quiet about it and investigate on your own. Only confront him when you have proof.
• I love stripclubs! With a few exceptions most ladies don't approve of their men attending these places. A man won't admit he looks at other women. Ladies you should be able to tell if your man has a wandering eye by his actions. Is his favorite show old re-runs of Baywatch? Does he never miss the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? Does he still have his old Playboy mags, for "nostalgic" reasons?
• No, I don't still love you. If you are asking this question to your man, it's for 1 of 2 reasons. #1, You suspect your relationship is falling apart. If you suspect, it probably is. Do something about it, but don't ask him. #2, You are insecure and needy. If this is the case and he does still love you, you may be driving him away by asking this question. A man wants to be judged on his actions, he does not want to badgered into loving you.
• I've slept with tons of other women You may think you know how many women your partner has been with, but you are probably wrong. Men know that answering this question leads down a path of destruction. It's hard to be truthful even if you want to. Ladies, sometimes ignorance is bliss.

These are just five things men won't admit to women. In the age old battle of the sexes, men are still afraid of women. The truth is the key to a healthy relationship is respect for one another. As a man in a solid relationship I know that I love my woman more than anything. My words to her don't mean nearly as much as my actions. Men, if you want your lady to be happy, put her needs above yours. Ladies you may never understand men but you don't need to question us, just observe and your answers will come to you.
