What Resveratrol Dosage Should I Take?
65Dr. Oz About Resveratrol On Oprah
Resveratrol has many health benefits. It can help you to get more energy, protect your cells and prevent diseases like Cancer, Alzheimer or Diabetes.
Considering the many great health benefits some people might want to consume a very high dose of resveratrol straight from the beginning. You better don't!
Getting used to Resveratrol
Our body is a complex system and can adopt to a lot of situations extremely fast. But how fast is it? If you start taking a pill, no matter what it is, it always means 'change'. Our body has to get used to whatever you take.
Scientists like Dr.Oz recommend to start with a low dose of Resveratrol. That's how our body can adopt and get used to the powerful anti-oxidant.
Natural Resveratrol Sources
According to scientists like Dr.Oz you would have to drink 1000 bottles of wine to benefit from the resveratrol in it. Impossible. Even if you just want to reach a daily dose of 20-50mg per day you can't rely on natural sources only. Resveratrol capsules can help you to reach a dosage that is sufficient. But I would still recommend to eat foods that contain resveratrol, because those are usually very healthy foods that will improve your diet.
Resveratrol Dosage Guideline
This is an Example for a 200lbs person
- 1 Week = 100mg of resveratrol
- 2-3 Week = 500mg of resveratrol
- 4-6 Week = 1000mg of resveratrol
That's how your daily dosage could look like. Dr.Oz suggests to take up to 500mg of Resveratrol daily. That's why you could also do it like this:
- 1 Week = 25mg of resveratrol
- 2-3 Week = 100mg of resveratrol
- 4-5 Week = 250mg of resveratrol
- 6 Week+ = 500mg of resveratrol
