What You Should Really Ask Santa For

In my sophomore year of high school, I wrote for the school newspaper. For our December edition, each of us on the writing/editing staff listed ten things we wanted for Christmas to be published in the newspaper. While everyone else's lists consisted of things like movies, gift cards, and money, my friend Idara, who was a contributing writer as well, wrote the most unique list out of all of us:

1) A puppy

2) Two puppies

3) My own phone line

4) Weapons of mass destruction at my disposal

5) A whole new winter wardrobe

6) A backyard full of crop circles

7) A sense of humor

8) A backbone

9) Telepathic powers

10) People skills

....And that's why she's still one of my closest friends.

AnneRako, what a great list! Do you think she wanted three puppies, in addition to that phone line and weapons of mass destruction? People skills are always hard to come by.;->

Thanks, Aya! Haha, I don't know about the puppies; I should ask her. She probably wanted just one, then changed her mind and decided to get more out of the deal and ask for two. Who knows. She's ridiculous.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

What a list, really outstanding! I would like to go for "Sense of humor"(I really need it badly), "Telepathic power" and lot of puppies and not just three :)....
