Yeah! I know. Usually it is very difficult to get children to do chores. Well, I am one of the "children". ;-)

One of the ways to get children to do chores is to take a piece of paper. Tear the paper to pieces (enough for you to write down what chore). For example : vacuum. Then write down on the torn paper. After that, fold/crumple the paper. Get your children to take one of the crumpled paper. Open and read it loud. That will make your children sure to do. It works on me!

The other way is to bargain with your children. Get a deal with your children. Bargaining is always with children no matter how old they are. I have a niece. She is now in college. Until today, she still bargains with my sister.

I hope this helps!

It's a good idea! Maybe I'll try it! Thanks so much!

Haha, bargaining definitely worked with me. My dad used to do that. IMHO, positive reinforcement always works better than punishment.

Btw are you from Penang? Make sure to go eat some Asam Laksa and Ais Kacang for me - they are my favorites :)
