What are some creative things I can do with my children's artwork?
62When your refrigerator is full of children's art!
When your refrigerator is full of childrens art and you just can't stand to throw away something your babies made, here are some ideas of what to do:
- Laminate them after gluing them to pieces of construction paper to make cute, custom placemats! Children will love to eat there dinner on their own creation!
- Save them along with your photos in a scrapbook that they'll never get tired of looking through (mine don't!)
- Hook a clothes-line sort of rope from one end of the ceiling in the child's room to the other. Make sure it's high enough to be out of danger to the child. Now presto! You can use clothes pins to hang up all his/her favorite artwork and decorate the bedroom with a homemade banner!
- Use one of the photo developing websites and have your child's artwork made into several different type of gift ideas. Great gifts for the grandparents!
- Out of town relatives? Share your special art! Have your child write a note or just his/her name (depending on age) and put it in an envelope to share with those who don't get to see your children every day. They'll enjoy the artwork for their refrigerator!
- Buy inexpensive frames and frame them. Decorate a playroom, bedroom or have your child give them to Grams, Grampas, Aunts, Uncles etc.
- Make a time capsule for your child and include his or her artwork with dates. Don't let him or her open it until a time set by you. It will be fun to look at and enjoy at a later date
Have fun!

Thank you Taylor! I had to jog my memory from when I was a more crafty Mom! lol
This is a great hub with some great suggestions! Most of my childhood artwork is in a big footlocker under my bed at my parent's house... At the end of every school year, I went through and picked out the ones I liked the best. At your suggestion, I think I'll make them into a big scrapbook! It would be much easier to flip through them that way.
