What are some good dinner ideas to help a child learn to cook?

One of the best things that I did as a child to learn to cook was starting with things that are easy. I made sugar cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, and anything that was fun to eat.

Another great opition to learning to cook is hamburger helper, tuna helper, or chicken helper, as it teaches the basics to cooking.

Some of the sweetest memories I hold in my heart today are of my now huge 17 yr ols son "helping" me cook when he was small. You do have to be careful about what it is, as small hands will drop, splatter and or burn themselves easily and often. Great read, thanks!
