Napping is helpful because not only does it help us catch up on the sleep most of us are lacking but it also has many health benifts. When you sleep whether a quick nap or a nights deep sleep, your body has a chance to relax and repair, and your brain has a chance to work through the information you gather each day. When you sleep your brain keeps working to organize and archive information. Sleeping also has benifts for your blood circulation whch in turn is good for the heart. When your body is relexed in the sleeping state your body works hard to keep all your function flowing and working. Although no one know's why we sleep we know why we need sleep. We need to sleep to restore energy levels, it helps us to retain more information and helps aching bodies relax. Sleep is important especially for young adults and elderly adults, and even more so for children. Sleep will help your productivity levels and basically make you feel good. So I say, why not nap? Its good for you!
