If you had to rate the top 10 Life Skills You Must Have, what would they be?

I know, I know, who has time for all this philosophical naval gazing? But bear with me, I am a street philopsopher so I will share my list and you see what you think. I would love to hear yours as well.

Top 10 LIST

1) You must know what you will live for, die for and kill for. (brutal huh? Who expected THAT?) I think if you answer this question it defines your life's aim.

2) You must learn multiple languages and be passionate about that learning. When you can THINK in multiple languages it changes your brain and your brain changes the way you seethe world.

3) You don't owe your fellow man love, respect or compassion. What you do owe your fellow man is HONESTY. That means looking him in the eye.

4) You do, however, owe yourself LOVE. Love yourself. And if you can't say it to yourself and hear it as true, you probably aren't going to be any good at loving anyone else.

5) You must Create Value. In every relationship, in every business dealing, in everyone.

6) You must remember this is all a Game. Play it as if your life depended on it (because it does) but at the end don't forget it was just a game.

7) You must learn all of the skills to Save a Life. (And then Save One.)

8) You must be able to move to another country, burn your house down or quit your job and REALLY be okay. If not, I suggest proceeding with the preceding (HUH!?).

9) You must be able to start, work through and finish things that you DO NOT want to do.

10) You must read Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum. It took me a dictionary and several readings but it is the best freaking book- EVER.

Okay so that's my list. Any suggestions on additions or deletions? What is your top 10 Life Skills List?
