What camping gear does a beginner need to go Camping?

I still remember the time when I was still a boy scout and I was then a Patrol Leader. I used to prepare my personal things needed prior to our regular camping activities.

There was a member in my group that really knows how to cook and I do remember that at his young age he was really experience guy to do the job Other members were helpful about the different activities during the scouting days.

To be able to prepare something prior to camping out side one must consider all those things that would be possibly needed when you plan to go for camping especially for those people who are beginners for this kind of undertaking.

We have to anticipate all the things that we may need when we decided to go for an activity where we have no knowledge and experience. It is good to prepare a list of all those things that we plan to bring during our camping.

We should not forget those things that we really need for our safety and for other factors that maybe present within the area where we plan to have our camping.

We must have a clear knowledge about the area where we plan to have our camping. We need to be aware of the camping area including those entry and exit passageway.

We need to bring our own personal belongings like camping clothes and other garments that we may possibly need. You must bring a few cooking paraphernalias including some kitchen and dining wares

Our list of items should also include things like a flashlight, pressure lantern to serve as our light in the evening, a hunting knife, an axe that we may use in clearing portion of camping area, rope, you may also bring a hammer, a plies, backpack where to place your small things, a first aide kit, fully charged cell phones, emergency contact numbers & numbers of your friends & your family, blanket, jackets, a baseball cap, jogging pants portable bed, match, camping net, a compass, a sketch of the area and the notice to your family and friends that you will go for camping outside your area.

Aside from the items above we need to bring our own vehicle where we place all those things that we want to bring. We should also bring plastic trash bag where we put our garbage that we maybe making later on.

In short, we must be able to list down all the things that we should bring once we plan our own camping outside our residence area.

Great idea to remeber the trash bags. The goal is to leave the campsite as clean or cleaner then you found it. Good article.

Some good info...I have a suggestion, though - your hub would be easier to read if you reformatted it so it is a list of needed gear...just a thought. :-)

I aways suggest to first time campers to "car camp" at campgrounds the first couple of times. This way they have an easy out if things are not going well and they can start to learn the things they need as well as basic skills.
