Plantar warts may differ in their appearance but in most cases they are firm lesions with tiny dark spots inside. In some cases, they can be rough and bumpy and they can also be thick. Their surface is smooth and has a grey yellow or brown color.
Most times they occur in areas of pressure or bony points such as the heels or the ball of the foot.
These symptoms of plantar warts are accompanied by a pain in the foot that makes it very difficult for the person to walk.
