Lawn Care & Search Engine Optimization

When working in your yard increases your web site traffic

Ok, you have just read the tiltle to this article and you are wondering what the heck I'm talking about? I wouldn't believe it myself if I had not actually tried it. Believe me, what I'm going to share with you works.

Lawn care and SEO (search engine optimization) works hand in hand if you do it correctly. I live in a small town in North Carolina and I publish a local community web site. I publish all types of articles that relate to everything you can imagine in my small town. I may do an article on the animals that need adopting at the local humane society or I may publish an article about the Mayor of my town setting some sort of new public policy. The content of my articles don't really matter a lot as long as it is focused on my community.

Now stick with me here. I write about everything and anything because as a local community blogger, you will find that the local folks find your web site for every imaginable search on Google and Yahoo. They even find me when I talk about lawn care and cutting my grass.

Recently I had some serious trouble with my riding lawn mower. It broke and it was a mess. I had a lot of grass to cut and I couldn't do it. There is nothing worse than a broken mower when you need it. I found a local lawn mower repair shop and hauled my mower to them. They did such a good job in repairing my lawn mower that I decided to publish an article about this small business to tell everyone in my community about the great customer service I received.

Not only did I publish an article, but I made a video review where I explained in detail exactly what happened and why I recommended that everyone in my community should consider using this same lawn mower repair shop. I posted the video on my site and I have received a ton of web traffic as a result of this video. When I wrote the article, I carefully considered my keywords and how local people might find the article in their searches. I optimized my article and as a result, it's being found by a lot of people.

That's exactly what Lawn Care and SEO have in common.

Lawn Care Blogger uses lawn tips to drive traffic

For a lot of us guys and gals, we love working in the yard. From time to time, we need a product or we do a search for lawn care tips. I do it all the time.

Maybe I've got a grub worm problem or spots in my grass are dying. Thank God for the bloggers out there who maintain lawn care blogs because I'm not an expeert. It's just a hobby of mine.

I have a few favorite sites I go to but one of my favorites can be found here, lawn care tips. I enjoy this blog and especially the product reviews that are mixed in. I recently bought a very cheap weed eater through this guy that I wouldn't have otherwise klnown about. I'm not the only one out there using SEO and lawn care to drive traffic to my site.

You should give it a try. Have a blog? Did you receive good service or get some good tips? Write about it and share what you have found. Your readers will appreciate it.
