It depends on how bad you get hit with the lightening. If it's only a slight single hit without injury then it won't hurt yourself. But if you get hit multiple times with hard impact to your body then it's like you are electrocuted and get paralyze or maybe lose your life.

I had a neighbor who was victim with a bad weather and died with the lightening while riding a horse. The smell of the horse was like a bullet powder or something like burns. And the person was badly burnt with the fire from lightening.

That's why my grandmother was so scared when she heard thunder. She used to apply vinegar in her skin to scare the lightening she said.

Possible results by lightening

Injuries will occur if you badly struck with a lightening.Your internal body will have some kind of burns even if you will not see it outside your skin.

It maybe also leads to being impotence. This will ruin your nerves and can affects your health and in some cases lightening can be deadly. It's like you are carrying a load of live wire with high voltage.

Stay away from big trees or forested areas if there's a bad storm or thunder. But if it's time to get bad luck, you just cannot hide from it. Sometimes in life, we keep running away from misfortune but then we will get the worst one ahead of us. That's why I believed in fate. Whatever you do in life if it's your time to go then it's your day to get sick or hit by lightening or whatever accident.

Other possible effects of lightening hits

Lightening strike in your body might also gives you a feeling for loneliness or depression. At some point you might loss your memory a bit or feels weak or fatigue.

Interesting topic, I agree with the fate part; you can't escape the inevitable.
